- Thought I would mention my first Royak I purchased in 1972. Solid yellow dive model from a dive shop in California. Had the craft for 20 years with no trouble untill a friend talked me out of it. So I found a used one and would like to do fiberglass repair can you give me some advice on this so I can show off here in Oregon? Love these boats!

- I have a Romany 16 and I want my wife to be able to kayak with me and keep up. I think she would be more comfortable in a sit-on-top style kayak. I also would like a kayak to use for diving. I am very interested in the Royak but I had some additional questions and/or clarifications.
Let's suppose a good paddler was cruising along and then conducting a sprint- what speeds could be expected?
The next question is regarding the Dive boat version. Other than strapping for the tank, what else is included for the jump in price? And will a bouyancy compensator with built-in back support that is normally attached to a scuba tank, fit inside the storage compartment, along with fins and mask?

- I am looking for a kayak to use for some serious salt water fly fishing, and need stability in the swells while fighting fish. My only reservation with the Royak thus far is that while it may handle swells while paddling, how is the boat's stability when one puts the paddle down on one's lap while holding a fly rod and trying to land a large fish? So, how does the Royak compare in "fishability"?

- Where can we get a drain plug? How do we tell what year Royaks we have? The ones we have are divivg with dual compartments. It appears, one is for a live well as you can let water in. The rear one is a dry compartment. [en](268 views)
